Terrible nothing but shacks beach wasn’t that great. I suggest you go to sugar Beach. We walked on to the sandals resort. They wanted $200 per person for a day pass for beach chairs. What a scam. Ruby C的完整评论

The road to get there, like most roads in Antigua - very uneven. You also have to endure a hilly walk/drive...but it's worth it. The water was always calm...very safe for bathing - anyone. Beautiful… Akabrowneyes的完整评论
How far is it and how safe is it to walk from Nelson's Dockyard to Piegeon Beach? How feasible is it to get a bus or taxi from Nelson's Dockyard to this bech and a taxi from the beach to the port/cruise terminal in St John's? Can you rent an umbrella and chair at the beach and,if so,how much?

There is more than one route. If you are fit and brave, there is an 'over the top' walk that is quite high and involves a bit of scrambling and some rough terrain. This is about a mile. The road walk is about half an hour, half flat and then a little hilly at the end, but easily manageable. There are plenty of taxis in Antigua (We used Del Taxi all holiday - he was amazing, offering advice and help above and beyond anything we have experienced before). St John's is about an hour's drive from Nelson's Dockyard. Both Nelson's Dockyard and Pigeon's beach are well worth visiting. There is covered seating at the beach, but no loungers/brollies. Whilst this does not suit everyone, it means that the beach remains largely unspoilt. Please go - we loved it!
