It'd great to bike eastbound through the beautiful areas at Riverfront Park and contemporary 1974 Expo buildings. I stopped at Gonzaga University. Wish it would have more signs at the Y intersections… FunGuy888的完整评论

North end of the trail is very nice ride. Paved. Lots of scenic view spots along the trail and history. Nine mile beach at the end of the trail is a very nice spot. gordh503的完整评论

Nice bike trail also good for walking and hiking. Other than occasional homeless encampments, the trail is pretty well maintained. 265jerrya的完整评论

There are lots of pretty areas to ride on the Centennial trail. One would be to start at Fort Wright Drive (T.J. Meenach Bridge) and head out West where you will travel towards Riverside State Park which is a feel of being out of the city. Another pretty area is starting at Farr Road and head east where you will follow along the Spokane River where if you get hungry you can stop off at a variety of eateries in the Valley Mall area on Sullivan. Nice way to get a ride and a bite to eat too. Enjoy the ride.

In london and europe the cities are built around trains, tube and bus routes that make public transport very sustainable.

I have read that the portion of this trail (including the Idaho portion) on either side of the Washington-Idaho border that runs near Interstate 90 is uncomfortably close to the Interstate. True?
答:
It's a little noisy but not for very far. The trail is safe however with fences and barriers. It is great fun to walk or ride a bike.

There are several good places to rent close to the Centennial Trail. They should all include helmets with the rental, as they are legally required in the City of Spokane. On the north side of the Spokane River in Kendall Yards (where there's free parking): MonkeyBoy Bicycles rents by the day or hour: 509-863-9272 In downtown: Spoke n Sport rents by the day or hour: 509-838-8842 The only one I know of in the Spokane Valley is The Bike Hub. They only rent by the day and are a bit more expensive than those downtown. Have to arrange ahead for children's bikes to be brought from another location. 509-443-4005.
