You can email the museum owners (it's a private museum) about opening outside of their usual hours. It was my mum's favourite film for all kinds of reasons so I felt the same. There is a Third Man tour of Vienna too but we didn't do that one. You will find a lot of denial in Austria (not just Vienna by any means) and talk of "occupation" instead of enthusiastic collaboration. The owners of this museum seem to want to address that as well as being passionate fans of this, possibly the greatest British film ever made.

Hi Gerhard! I am planning a trip to Vienna in November and your museum is top of my must do list. Are there any Saturdays in November that you won't be open? Any other days that you may be open? My flight scheduling depends on this! Don't get me wrong I am not obsessed with The Third Man or am familiar with its trivia, I just think it is one of the most brilliant films ever made, is of historical and cultural importance and I frequently have the tune going through my head!
