Affected are certain model-year 2009-2016 Dodge Journey vehicles. An estimated 187,436 vehicles in Canada are also subject to this recall. Replacement parts are expected to become available soon.

The 2011-2015 Dodge Journey and Fiat Freemont are covered under a recall to secure their engine covers from getting loose. The campaign covers 349,731 of the crossovers worldwide.

DETROIT (AP) — U.S. auto safety regulators are a step closer to seeking a recall of nearly a million Dodge Journey SUVs after a woman was trapped and died when her vehicle caught fire in 2022.
