2009年11月8日 · Nate - Plain Claritin should never have the effects you describe - I echo the comment that you must have gotten the "D" variant. I know people who take Claritin (or its generic equivalents) prophylactically during allergy season, without hint of effect.

2018年1月10日 · I don't mind sharing. I used to take Zyrtec because of allergies, but I switched over to Claritin last year because I knew the FAA doesn't like Zyrtec. Unfortunately on one of the documents I had sent in for a different condition, Zyrtec was listed as a medication I had been taken. The second issue was part of my sleep study for my OSA.

2019年3月12日 · In the Warrior, it’s Velcro’d to the dash and I made a simple cover out of some scrap plastic sheet I found and bent with a heat gun. Heat is definitely something to consider and the cover works well. If I had it to do over again I wouldn’t have gotten the 50R for the gyro.

A certain AME who specializes in complicated medicals confirmed that Claritin and Sudafed are approved, and he encouraged their use for seasonal allergies, provided no adverse reactions are experienced.

A school with a Baron would of course be better than some other twin, but the main reason being, engine-out training can be kind of hard on turbo engines.

2024年10月11日 · FWIW, I came to the conclusion that the only way to get the plane and panel I want is to get a good plane and install my panel. A good plane with my version of a good panel is a purple unicorn that I'd wait years to find - if ever. And if I did eventually find it it, the time spent waiting is the time I could have been flying.
