First adjust your string saddle height for fretted notes at the 5th fret and higher, then adjust the truss rod for open strings and fretted noted at the 5th fret and lower. BTW...the recommended specs are a reasonable setting to give good play-ability for most players.

2019年8月5日 · As easy as taking off a truss rod cover. Vintage strats have a cut out in the pickguard to get access without taking the neck off. I don't think Fender does any of this any more though. I rarely have to adjust it. On my old one, you can see some marks around the truss rod adjustment hole, so someone did many decades ago.

2015年11月23日 · were it mine i'd do it old school suhr-style; make a clean little cutaway notch in the pickguard and body, swap out the truss rod nut for a fender american standard (fits vintage rod threads but has a 1/8" hex hole instead of the cross-cut), then chop off a 1/8" hex wrench just past the bend so you can tuck it in there to adjust without having to even loosen the strings.
