2021年9月21日 · If you’re looking for something free I’d either get “Graphics Gale” or “Krita”. Krita is the better of the two by far, but Graphics Gale would be easier to use out the gate. You can use Krita for pixel art but it’s mostly used for digital portraits or more detailed game art.

2020年2月4日 · I think most people actually use a mouse for pixel art (don't quote me on that). An alternative of course is a drawing pad, but those Cost a good chunk. If you're absolutely against a mouse, you could download pixel studio on your phone or tablet. As for a program, if you're looking to spend money, aseprite is popular (for good reason).

It still pales in comparison to the BEST options out there, which are desktop apps like Aseprite. Aseprite rules and it’s often on sale for like $11. Of course it’s not a native iPad app at all, but in many ways, I find mouse & keyboard just work better for pixel art.

2022年10月26日 · I just finished a game using pixel art for the first time, and I used a combination of aseprite and Photoshop. Aseprite was really great for pixel work, easy use of palettes, and especially for animation with sprite sheets. I think there are also maybe some tile mapping tools I didn't get the chance to check out.
