2024年11月12日 · One issue I'm finding; the working pressure of the press is 5,100 psi (@50 Tons), and the pump is rated at up to 10,000 psi output. However, it seems many hydraulic components are only rated around 3,500-4,500 psi, the 5,000-10,000 psi rated stuff is harder to find and gets quite expensive.

2015年1月25日 · I'd like to pick up a bench mounted unit or the hand held hydraulic unit, but they're hella expensive. You'd be lucky to get a tool like those for under 500+bucks Cad and you're more likely to spend 700 cad once you get it shipped, pay the duties, taxes, etc.

2013年4月1日 · If you are building your own press, have a look at this Enerpac press. The table is raised and lowered by a single lift point. They are using a cylinder, but a small worm drive winch from Harbor Freight would work just as well. What is not easily visible in the photo are the rollers that run on the left side post.

2013年3月3日 · Learned this while doing lots of cabinet building, woodworking gets ya into large builds. I had to make wall cabinets 16' long with cubby holes and doors. Man that I every clamp I own in use in the glue up . With the table saw outside it made working easy. Yupp all my tools are on wheels except my lathe the one exception.

I also have a 28 ton, 48'' hydraulic press brake, and am in the process of consulting on a 48'', 20 ton all electric CNC press brake. The CNC press brake project started out as a finger brake, but that idea was abandoned in favor of the more conventional press brake style.
