You said you put it under your tongue without saliva or anything, it’s unlikely you’d be able to handle 90-100% alcohol directly under the tongue like that, so they may have used a lower proof alcohol or a non-traditional tincture solvent.

Apr 25, 2022 · I made some tincture for the first time and I don't think its right. I decarbed in my oven but its not a conventional oven so no fan. I did it at 230 for 45 min then cold washed with moon shine. Strained and let it sit out over night for the alcohol to evaporate but it didn't there is the same amount in the jar and it just looks like tea.

Jan 7, 2021 · Not imo. Swallowing and holding under the tongue are different though. If youre looking to get very high, smoking is the best roa. If you’re looking to be high for longer, swallowing is the best. If youre looking to get the absolute most thc absorbed, the answer is probably alcohol tincture or mct oil sublingually.

Now days I just do a simple QWET extraction for tinctures. I’ll do the first extraction clear and strong, and then sometimes I’ll add a little more decarbed bud along with a small bit of non-decarbed CBD flower into the THC or CBD qwet jar, shake it up well and throw back in the freezer for a day or so with additional shaking in between.

Oct 19, 2017 · I'm pretty sure that THC isn't too very volatile, but other things that are probably in your tincture (terpenes, flavinoids, other cannabinoids, etc) can be quite volatile, and can affect the perception of the strength of a preparation. TL/DR: You probably are losing things that could affect your perception of the strength of the tincture.
