What is a Business Membership? - Costco Customer Service
Business Memberships allow you to purchase products for business, personal, and resale use at any Costco Wholesale location worldwide and online at Costco.com. One additional card is also provided for a member of your household at no additional charge. Like all Costco memberships, it’s valid for one year and must be renewed annually.

Can I purchase tobacco at my local Business Center?
The business address on your membership profile must match your commercial business address. A P. O. Box cannot be used. You must report resale tobacco/cigarette purchases to the Management Science Association (MSA). Reports can be sent to [email protected]. Licensing must be presented to any local Warehouse or Business Center.

How do I purchase for tax exempt or resale on Costco.com?
For resale, Costco.com requires the appropriate resale certificate from the state where the shipment was delivered. For exempt organizations, such as schools and nonprofit organizations, most states require that purchases be made with a credit card in that name of the tax-exempt business or agency.
