Dark Sonic comes from energy from fake CE’s and severe anger. Extra (real) emeralds would be better for this continuity. Hyper Sonic has appeared in the games, while Dark Sonic was just on a TV show. Honestly, as epic as it was and as justified as it was, Dark Sonic was essentially just Sonic losing his temper.

Dark Sonic is a darkside, whereas Fleeyway Super Sonic is pretty much a chaos demon that lives rent-free in Sonic's body
