If your current toilet accepts a standard toilet seat, you might consider getting a BEMIS STA-TITE Round Closed Front Toilet Seat.

Mar 9, 2008 · I know this thread is quite old but I have a related problem now. I'm trying to replace the toilet seat on a Toto skirted toilet. I bought a soft close replacement seat but I can't see how to remove the original seat. The toilet was originally installed in 2001. The seat has no slotted screw but instead a chrome plate.

Need toilet recommendation for a REALLY small powder room
Nov 20, 2012 · I've been considering Kohler's Santa Rosa Compact Elongated toilet, and I'd like to know if this is a good choice. The toilet is on the longer wall, which means that there's only 43" between the back wall and the opposite wall. The toilet is 27.5". I know that doesn't leave a whole lot of "knee room" but that's what I have to work with.
