2022年2月25日 · Our side by side Frigidaire with ice/water in the door will only dispense crushed ice, not whole cubes. we have tried switching back and forth repeatedly but it remains stuck. Is there an easy fix or will this require a pro to attend and repair? I am very handy at fixing things but have little if any experience with appliances.

I emptied my ice basket last week and all I got was crushed. I must have moved the auger to the closed position by accident. In the closed position, you will only get crushed ice.

The blue plastic pipe that leads from the bottom water valve to the back of the ice maker has no water in it. I disconnected it, an it is not blocked. HELP!!

Swap the wires between the water dispenser and ice maker solenoids. Press the water release on the water dispenser for a few seconds and check if there is some water in the ice maker.
