Is Alison Courses a legitimate place to get certifications?
2022年3月12日 · Completed 2 courses so far.. But the certificate isn't free. I can view the completed course and the certificate showing, but in order to get the real thing gotta pay for it. Looking at other stuff on Google most employers don't recognize Alison certifications

2018年8月20日 · I’m not saying you shouldn’t do online courses in nursing, you should, but don’t expect to get employed somewhere as a qualified nurse just from a random course you did. Coursera and EdX do have courses on healthcare that could be helpful. You could try the nursing courses on Alison, I mean they completely free to do so there’s no risk.

I want to be a software engineer and I'm doing some courses on edX and Alison, as well as some others. These courses require you to pay in order to attain certificates. Any certificate you pay for is worthless. Any free certificate in Programming is also worthless. Experience counts.

2022年12月30日 · Of course! Alison's courses are an excellent way of acquiring new skills for free. Certificates are an optional extra to purchase at the end of your studies. Alternatively, you can download your free learner record from your Alison Dashboard for proof of studies. Additional forms of education are always seen as a plus from an employers perspective.

Can getting an Alison diploma really be worth it?
I'm currently in the process of pursuing a few online courses to add to my CV, and remembered Alison has free courses, where you simply need to pay for the certificate/diploma at the end of the course- only if you wish to. They come at approx 3.5k and 800 respectively. Is getting a certificate/diploma from Alison worth it?
