2022年10月9日 · A Block in Autocad terms is a set of geometry that gets created only once. Any instance of the block displays the same geometry, only in a different position. So, an instance of the Block is only a reference to it's source Block, essentially a pointer as in programming. But, yes, the Clone is probably the closest in FreeCAD land.

2017年8月19日 · It's not accurate at all. As input it only accepts BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG and as output it generates PDF, SVG, (OBJ, DAE for furniture), It does not work with any CAD format. Its focus is another. In fact, the authors have stated this is not an alternative for AutoCAD applications, and they have never had the interest to implement DXF export format.

Drafting tools to draw in 2D came a few years later. The Draft Workbench author is an architect, so he took inspiration from programs like Autocad and Revit to develop it.

2022年11月3日 · Yes, that's right, it's free, anyway. I have to concentrate more on the program (like, what am I doing to not generate errors) than on my construction drawing - it can't really be that. I've attached a practice example where you have to round off all edges at the end - impossible with FreeCAD (let's put it this way).
