Scale equivalent to metric scales in drawings
2021年1月24日 · Hi all ,I have a query and help required.I have been using metric system to make technical drawings in CAD.I was using scales such as 1:1000,1:500,1:200,1:100,1:50,1:25,1:10,1:5 for all my working drawings and detail drawing.Recently I have started using imperial system of drawing making.Could anyone help me what will be the equivalent scale in Imperial system corresponding to the metric sales ...

2024年9月15日 · I usually use the SCALELISTEDIT command to bring up the Edit Drawing Scales box. For some reason choosing Imperial in the Scale List - Reset box will give Architectural units. I choose Metric and Imperial Scales to get the Engineering scales. If this is what you always want. Change it in your Template file.

2014年9月24日 · When I edit the scales my 1:75 shows "1 paper Millimeter = 0.075 drawing Meters". Now I had him create a layout from my template. When he sets the 1:75 it is way off. In Editscalelist it shows "1 paper unit = 0.075 drawing units. In my template it shows a Custom Scale as 13.333 in his drawing it shows as 0.0133.

2024年3月19日 · That box with Drawing Scales is used only for annotation / plot purposes. For the drawing, it depends on what you and the other party agreed to use as drawing unit. Easiest is to set one drawing unit as one measurement unit. Like 1 drawing unit = 1 mm. When outputting to PDF or printer / plotter, it's time to set the plot scale.

2018年12月14日 · When I reset the imperial scales to be metric, the zooming considers modelspace drawing units to be inches. AutoCAD has option for default scalelist which is found right click model or paperspace -> options -> user preferences -> default scale list. Changing this to metric is overrided whenever I open old drawing which has imperial drawing units.
