I use Logos 8 extensively offline, as high speed internet is sparse where I live, and it works with excellence. While we live in such a connected world, having something so powerfully work near full capacity offline is nice! Enjoy!
Quick Installation onto multiple computers - Logos Community
Where necessary install the latest .NET for your operating system (Offline installers are available) If necessary run DXSETUP.exe; Run Logos-x64.msi (or Verbum-x64.msi) from the desired user account. select Custom installation and uncheck “Automatically Download Updates” change the installation folder if necessary e.g. E:\, C:\Users\username
Remembering Location Offline — Logos Community
I have noticed that when reading offline the ESV remembers where I was last reading. However other books (Finally Alive, Hodge's Systematic Theology) always jump back to the beginning. Is this a bug or simply a limitation of the current offline reading mode? It would be great for other books to work like the ESV does!
Downloading Books From My Library — Logos Community
All books you own should be available in the Logos app on your laptop when you are offline. Have you tried it? On your laptop it will not be an "app" but you will need to install the full Logos 7 (or perhaps 6) software which will include your full Logos library.
1.41 - Can't load book specified when offline. — Logos Community
Ok, just dinking around here, I have several books listed in the library for offline reading (nasb, esv, expositor bible commentary, alphabet of animals etc.). All had little airplanes on them. On a whim, I just deleted the Nasb and re-downloaded it. Now I have only the Nasb and alphabet of animals listed, both work perfectly.

Could not open offline resource — Logos Community
The LEB which is downloaded still shows "Could not open offline resource" with a retry button, but as noted, it won't allow me to remove it as it says it is a part of the program. Since I primarily use the ESV, I have decided to not completely uninstall the app and then try reinstalling to see if that makes a difference with the LEB.
esv - unable to make it offline — Logos Community
I could not download the esv and have it offline on my ipod touch. It simply would not allow me to turn it on. I am able to download other resources but not esv.
