One year update: My warning on the PASGT helmet for serious use
2021年7月20日 · The PASGT (Personnel Armor System Ground Troops) is 1970s design ballistic helmet and is largely comprised of 1930s era parts (aside from its kevlar protection). It retained a very similar leather liner system to the M1 helmet (rather than pads) and a similar clasp style chin strap (instead of the more modern buckle).

2020年6月14日 · The pasgt is one of the only helmets made that stops tokarev rounds. Its really not a bad helmet if it was made by gentex. The unicor one's bfd left something to be desired when hit with fast frag or .44. The pasgt is still widely used today by foreign armies. It's a decent kpot.

Both problems were resolved with updated helmet suspensions and updated chinstraps. The PASGT helmet, updated, has some inherent configuration problems, as mentioned above.
