2008年12月15日 · <p>Could anybody give any advice on a suitable lens for Bird photography? It would be mounted to a D200 body and price would be an issue. Meaning i cant afford the nikon 400mm 2.8, the 500mm f4 or the 600mm F4. I was thinking about nikon 300mm f4 with a tele converter possibly or i have looked at the 80-400 VR.

2024年8月7日 · The standard portrait lens in 35mm photography is the 85mm. The closes thing I have to that is my 210mm wich is the equivalent of 60mm. So the 210mm falls short. The closest thing to 85mm in large Format is the astronomically expensive 300mm lens. Is this lens necessary for portraits, or could I get by with the 210mm ?

2008年11月22日 · In a 'smallish' studio, if you are looking for just head/shoulder shots, the 85mm is very good on a the D300. Personally, I use the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 lens (about $370)--which, if money is tight, is quite a bit of savings over the f/1.4 lens at over $900. You can decide if the $550 or so difference is worth the partial stop difference.

2016年5月23日 · The 400 Takumar is an excellent lens, although not easy to use due to its outer bay mount. The rear filter bay cannot be used due to internal reflections that show up on film. A 105mm front filter can be used but have to be adapted to fit the lens hood with a spacer ring. The 400 EDIF is only slightly better but much more expensive.
