2011年7月4日 · Once connected, you are essentially "part of" your university's network and will be able to ssh. FTP (deprecated) FTP is useful but is old and insecure. It does not encrypt network traffic so anything you send out (including passwords) can be read by anyone. I recommend you use sftp (ssh). PuTTy will probably be able to solve all your problems.
