2024年10月11日 · At the public board meeting, the Surrey Board of Education approved a motion directing staff to engage in a consultation on converting the three traditional schools into catchment elementary schools, with a report to be presented to the board Dec. 11, 2024.
Surrey Traditional is a K-7 traditional school. We are a school of choice open to all students in the Surrey School District. The school is required to follow all school district policies and the curriculum guidelines mandated by the Ministry of Education for all public schools.
The district’s three traditional schools – Cloverdale Traditional, McLeod Road Traditional, and Surrey Traditional – are in neighbourhoods that are particularly impacted, resulting in the need to manage enrolment and school space in these areas.
