It used to be true in general that Verizon had a certain part of the spectrum that penetrated obstacles better, and would get into those nooks and crannies better.

According to this map, scanned yesterday, there's still decent coverage of 2G and 3G in the U.S.This data is coming from T-Mobile themselves but just because it's on their map doesn't mean this can depict real coverage, mistakes happen.

2022年2月24日 · To my knowledge, T-Mobile is the only one rolling out low-band 5G, so Verizon woudn't have seen any coverage improvements. T-Mobile has always been the "bottom of the barrel" operator in my market due to horrible coverage in comparison to Verizon and AT&T. Now my new phones work in areas that never did with Verizon.

2022年8月20日 · I have both T-Mobile cell service and home internet service and currently reside on the Windward side. I have not had any issues with reliability or speed for both services. If you have a 5G capable phone, you'll get the best speeds around town as most of the 5G towers are along Waikiki through downtown but more are probably being installed.

2022年12月23日 · I have Spectrum Mobile as a 2nd line so I am constantly seeing the coverage difference driving around where T-Mobile has multiple bars and Spectrum is 1 or 0 bars. There have only been a few places I have seen where Spectrum Mobile wins out.
