I’ll do the first extraction clear and strong, and then sometimes I’ll add a little more decarbed bud along with a small bit of non-decarbed CBD flower into the THC or CBD qwet jar, shake it up well and throw back in the freezer for a day or so with additional shaking in between.

Unless it's a full spectrum single source extraction with all the terpenes and other cannabinoids from that strain present, which no tincture manufacturer does, there's no difference. Plants can be sativa/indica/hybrid - tinctures are mostly made with distillate.
