2005年5月12日 · There seems to be two transmissions used on the Windstar. Mine is a '99 with the towing package and has the XF2P-BA unit. The other one avialable is the F88P-BA. Are these the towing and non-towing versions or is there more to it than that? These numbers are stamped on top of the bell-housing, so I'm told. Thanks for any and all replys.

2003年2月18日 · What may have happened is the PCM saw a rapid change in line pressure from the PC solenoid and went into default mode. Although I dont do transmissions I do see this alot. The Service Engine light is a clue to what may have happened. I'd see your dealer before any other damage occurs, you may try to pull the trans fuse and see if it resets itself.
