2022年3月2日 · I have over 60 dex and strength and 28 int and the moonveil does a total of 608 while the uchigatana (with a quality affix) does 597. If I were to max them to +10 and +25 they would do 659 (moonveil) and 615 (uchigatana). The split damage is a reasonable argument but it’s definitely outdoing the uchigatana in raw stat damage.

2022年3月8日 · Uchigatana is one of the strongest weapons. Bloodhound's step is great, but try other ash of wars like Bloody Slash or Unsheathe (The default one). If you don't like the moveset too much, tey other dex weapons - The Twinblade, Flail, Nightrider's Flail, or even the Bloodhound's Fang.

2022年6月21日 · My uchigatana is +14 and I've managed to get the Moonveil to +5. Even tho the Larmament value is higher for the moonveil katana, it does about 15 to 20% less damage. And transient moonlight does HALF the damage of Bloody slash on my uchigatana.

2022年3月18日 · Bit confused on this. Have a +17 uchigatana w/bloody slash and around 37 dex. Nothing else really besides vigor endurance and a bit of strength have been leveled up. Am I better off using keen or blood? This part has me totally confused haha. Also if im planning on dual wielding eventually, should I do one keen one blood? Thanks!!

2023年12月31日 · I highly recommend dual wielding katanas, as it will apply bleed faster. You can find a second uchigatana in the deattouched catacombs in northern limgrave. Alternatively, I used this guide and it got me through the entire game (with leveling ofcourse). I recommend dual wielding however, nagakiba in main hand and uchi in offhand.

2021年7月16日 · As a side note, Uchigatana has a Bleed effect, which means that consecutive hits will cause an enemy to lose massive amounts of health. It's like the debuff you get in game for Bleed. Get 3 or 4 hits on an enemy fast enough and a third of it's health bar will say goodbye.

What i noticed with uchigatana+8: Find a balance between str and dex. All on dex resulted in lower damage than mixed up because until some point str gives you +2 damage.

Without the iron whetstone, to use bloody slash you would need to make the weapon arcane scaling, but this might not be what you want because your arc isn’t as ...

2022年11月6日 · Just ran this through a calculator. At 80 dex/99 arcane, A blood Uchigatana has 117 blood buildup vs 90 of an Arcane one. It has a 100 physical difference, tho, since Occult has higher arcane scaling than Blood.
