I believe it's been posted that M100 with microfiber cutting pads on a dual action polisher can remove 3000 marks. You will have to search to be sure.

If that defect is a series of very fine swirl marks (technically still scratches in the paint) then the amount of paint removed in order to eliminate the defect is minimal; inconsequential really.
