New Fan - Difference between Graphic Novels and Books?
2020年11月26日 · Through a friend I've just recently found out about Wings of Fire, but I've only just noticed that there's a difference between the graphic novels and the books. You see, I've finished all of the currently released graphic novels, and have just noticed that I have lots of catching up to do (in terms of the book).

2019年7月26日 · I enjoy the graphic novels overall. I like to read them after I read the corresponding text novel to confirm or correct my perception of dragons or settings. For example, I incorrectly perceived the Summer Palace pavilions as being carved into the walls of the interior, not as a structure in the middle.
How different is the graphic novel to the actual book?
2024年6月10日 · The graphic novel version has a new scene showing Starflight reading the Missing Princess to Tsunami, you already know this. One other detail is that Osprey is not missing his wings. In the book, his tail is paralyzed and drags him down as he tries to fly. The graphic novels also shorten down several sequences and tones down the blood.

2021年11月15日 · I used to like them a lot since I read them before I read the novels. But after reading the novels the graphic novels feel watered down and empty. Book four is the most well done of the graphic novels, and is better than the novel, in my opinion. The rest feel bland

Two years later, in fifth grade, I decided to read the novels, and they opened up a whole new perspective of the dragon world. Yet, the graphic novels still had a special place in my heart. Another two years later, I joined the wings of fire community.
