2011年7月19日 · Also a few Alienware owners are having an issue with the unmodified OSD and Windows 8. Only the default Windows 8 OSD displays and not the Alienware version. Try the solution posted by Dell here and then attempt installing the mod. The below screenprint is a workaround by editing the security policies to allow the unsigned exe to run in Windows 8.

2012年12月30日 · I have an Alienware M17x R4 3D with Nvidia GTX 675m as the the GPU. I am running the latest Bios A11 and have installed UEFI Windows 8 Pro. I can see the Secure Boot Option but its greyed out and disabled. Also there is a Legacy Cdrom which is enabled. I tried disabling it but I got the " Cant detect the MXM card GOP driver".
