Eventually the DPF will become clogged enough that you'll have to take it somewhere to have the DPF removed (or remove it yourself) and take it to a facility that can re-condition it/manually clean it. Then it will be as good as new again for the most part.

2017年3月7日 · Dpf plugged up so I changed it out with a new one, Before changing the old one the soot was at 71g, with reduced power message, service regen didnt not drop the soot level. HCI and Differential pressure sensor are new, and working correctly. After installing a new dpf, the soot level is still at 71, with reduced power.

2024年11月22日 · 2009 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 2500 with Duramax 6.6 liter. DPF is no longer available from GM / Chevy. Aftermarket versions do not last. Check engine light comes ON Code P2002. CAT, EGR valve, DP sensor, Temp sensors all replaced with OEM Chevy parts. Aftermarket DPF installed and replaced once under warranty.
