2022年4月28日 · Turn the power off, pull the GFCI receptacle out. remove any wires off of its "Load" terminals, and cap them off. Put the GFCI back in the box, power back up and hit "Reset". If it still won't reset with nothing plugged in and nothing on Load, then the GFCI is finished.

I am confirming that switching line and load on each side fixed it. The Leviton GFCI outlet was flipped from my old outlet. An easy way to test is to disconnect all black/white wires and put wire nuts on them so they aren't exposed. Then turn the breaker back on. Use a voltage tester to figure out which one has power. That's line.

Identify the "LOAD" terminals on the GFCI. If any wires are attached to the "Load" terminals, then remove those wires and cap them off safely so they are insulated.

When I hook up the GFCI and turn the breaker on, the hot and neutral have current, ground does not, but the GFCI won't reset and power devices plugged into it.
