2023年10月1日 · I activated a TextNow SIM card around a year ago when I got a special offer from TextNow for 250MB/mo of unrestricted data. As you've mentioned, my TextNow data doesn't work in Canada, BUT I can still use my TextNow # over WiFi while in Canada. I've never tried TextNow paid data, so I personally can't say whether or not that works in Canada.

The TextNow SIM doesn't do anything except provide cellular data access exclusively for use with the TextNow app. But the app should happily run off of WiFi, or data from the primary SIM.
