WiFi/Networking issue when connected to docking station
2015年12月16日 · I purchased 2 docking stations, one for work and one for home. At work the docking station is perfect and uses an Ethernet cable. At home I only have WIFI, when I plug in the docking station the WIFI no longer works, it says it is (i.e. it is connected) but won't transmit data. As soon as I unplug the docking station, wifi works perfectly again.

2020年6月19日 · I am using 4 port usb docking station as only 1 usb port on my laptop is functional. Although when plugged in separately, both usb mouse and keyboard work properly but when plugged in together, the mouse stops working. However, the light in the mouse is on indicating that it is still drawing power. I am using windows 10.

2022年5月18日 · When I use a USB-C station it leaves open the two side ports on the laptop and I have no issue. But when I use a regular USB port docking station I plug my keyboard into the dock and the keyboard intermittently stops working or repeating the keypress. So the issue for me seems to only be active when my peripherals go through a docking station.

It doesn't seem to matter what brand keyboard/mouse i have or what USB port i use (both docking station and laptop) but the mouse is constantly not working and the keyboard seems to freeze every few minutes. I called manufacturer, but it seems that this isn't equipment issue. All drivers are updated. I tried to restart system to defaut settings, change display setting from clone to extend screen, but with no respond.

2021年10月5日 · Whenever I use a wireless keyboard connected with a USB dongle to the dockig station, the keybord shows an erratic behaviour: - it often lags or miss keystrokes (it happened at least 20 times when writing this message) - it (less) often repeats a keystroke until a new key is pressed (it happened 4 times when writing this message).

The only software I have on the XPS 12 on top of Window 8 Professional is Office 2010 Home and Business.

2015年8月1日 · This issue occurs for me using a Plugable UD-3900 docking station, whenever I undock and re-dock there is no audio through my headset even though Windows 10 sees the device and thinks its working correctly. I am using the latest drivers (laptop, and docking station) and latest version of Display Link (7.9).

2021年6月7日 · I have a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3050 and a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000. When my Surface Pro 7 is docked with Surface Dock 2, with the Surface Type Cover closed, the mouse and keyboard stop working intermittently, maybe once or twice a day. Opening and closing the Surface Type Cover fixes the issue, but it's getting really annoying.
