Homemade Chili (via @Miriam ) 1 lb ground turkey or beef 1 sm onion 1 sm green pepper 3 cloves garlic 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes 15 oz can tomato sauce 15oz can red kidney beans 2 tbs chili powder 2 tbs smoked paprika 1 tbs ground cumin 1/5 tbs garlic powder 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 envelope beefy onion soup mix 1 cup water *take about 1-2 tsp of those dry seasonings to season your protein of choice (plus a tiny pinch of salt) Optional toppings: Cheddar
