This is one of my favorite yard tools. It's called a peat moss or compost roller. It's perfect for top dressing, simply open the cage fill it with material, close it & start pushing. It evenly releases a thin layer of material onto the ground which is perfect for top dressing. This seed starting mix is easy as 3-2-1! 3 parts compost, two parts peat moss (or coconut coir), and one part perlite. Add a sprinkle of green sand and rock phosphate, you are good to GROW! Soil blocking? Just use more peat moss and less compost and boom!
