It’s actually a lot more common than you’d think (especially in late-summer and fall months)! 💙🌊 Later in the summer, a persistent south wind often sets up in the Western Gulf of Mexico. This wind helps direct a south-to-north moving pulse of water that moves north along the Texas Coast, bringing bluer water that is more saline! Still don’t believe us?
