Yeah we fit sheep, but we don’t shear! On our farm shearing occurs predominately in the fall (September) prior to the start of lambing. While this time of year we are fitting, or preparing the sheep for show. In the US sheep are generally exhibited either slick shorn (no wool), in fleece (think natural) of as a fitted breeding sheep.
