Cummins ECM Cooler Plate Diagnosis and Function

🚛🔧 Just got an N14 ECM! 📍 Here’s a quick tip: You don’t have to remove the entire cooling plate from the engine to ship it. The ECM with the cooling plate is mounted on the driver’s side. To remove it: 1️⃣ Remove the 3 bolts on each side of the ECM. 2️⃣ Shipping an ECM without the cooling plate saves you on shipping costs and weight. 💡 Remove three bolts on each side, the 6 connector screws and you're done!
